Age 53 - last period at 51 - first symptoms at 48

I didn’t have an overly difficult experience, perhaps 3 or 4 hot flushes and a handful of sleepless nights. The main challenge for me has been weight gain around the middle, which, despite eating healthily, not drinking for the past 4 years, and exercising 5x per week I am unable to shift. Another major change is my raging anger toward patriarchal systems.
