Age 52 - last period at 41 - first symptoms at 41

I had a complex cyst found on one ovary at age 41. Cyst and my ovary were surgically removed. The gynaecologist could not find the other ovary as it was plastered in adhesions after 3 caesareans. After surgery, the gynaecologist said that I may go into menopause and said to come back if I had symptoms. Within a month I experienced symptoms. Went back to the Gynaecologist who put me on HRT.
