Age 50 - Still having periods - First symptoms at 42

My symptoms were debilitating joint aches, 25% weight gain, no energy, low moods, super heavy periods to the point of changing tampons every hour and couldn’t leave the house without period knickers, maxi pad and tampon. Terrible sex drive. Anxiety which caused me to drink too much. Doctors sent me for MRI’s and X-rays for my joint pain. I sort out relief with weekly chiropractic and fortnightly physio appointments. My shoulders also gave out during this time. I only started feeling better after I found the right doctor and started MHT. My energy came back, brain fog all but gone, and I have only seen the chiropractor and physio once in 6 months. Sex drive still needs some work.
