58 year old - last period at 56 - first symptoms at 50

I began to experience irregularity with my period. I had some hot flushes which would sometimes stop me sleeping. This left me fatigued, teary and anxious. My confidence at work was affected. When my periods stopped I experienced vaginal dryness for which I was prescribed Ovestin cream. Prior to this sex was uncomfortable which impacted on my libido. My libido all but disappeared in the first few years after menopause. I found the most support from my girlfriends.
